Sven Ochsenbauer is a freelance jazz pianist, composer and arranger and received his musical training in Plattling (specializing in classical music) and Nuremberg (specializing in jazz).
He plays around 100 – 120 concerts a year, mainly in southern Germany and in neighboring countries (e.g. Austria or the Czech Republic).
He plays his concerts solo or in a classical jazz piano trio (piano, bass, drums) as well as in larger ensembles in a quartet/quintet.
He composes for piano, guitar and various other instrumentations.
He also works as a commissioned composer, writing film music, jingles and music for silent films.
So far he has released 10 CDs documenting his compositional work.
