The compositions for the piano album “Flüsse” are largely inspired by texts and poems from the Lichtung-Lesebuch of the same name, published by lichtung verlag, Viechtach. Various authors take us to rivers in south-east Bavaria with their thoughts and tell of childhood experiences on or in the water, fish, sandbanks, hiding places on the banks, etc.
Beethoven’s globally popular “Freude schöner Götterfunken” from the final movement of his 9th Symphony was the model here for a modern, lively arrangement for piano four hands.

Each of the 12 moments on this piano album by Oliver Lisy tells its own little story: sometimes cheerful, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes full of temperament, sometimes calm, sometimes casual… The finest piano jazz, pop ballad elements, crisp rhythms, fresh harmonies and catchy melodies come together here to create a rendezvous worth playing.

Plucking or painting? That is the question here! Both are allowed! Rhythmically ostinato and casual in sound, this little cello trio is always a lot of fun and can also be played well by cello ensembles. The movement is largely in the first position for all 3 voices.
